THE ROAR OF THE WYRM

Concept: Nothing is harder to deal with than a bunch of High Rage, Ass-whuppin' Wyrm characters, who like nothing better than rippin' their opponents to shreds.

Strategy: Smash, Rend, Kill, Grunt. This deck focuses on frenzying, and collecting high Frenzy hands to beat your opponent unmercifully. Although the deck does not use the gift Roar of the Wyrm it is not hard to see why this deck gets its name.

The designer calls this style of deck "munchy," and says the only things that give it problems are Memory Ribbons, and New Moons, both of which disallow frenzies. Gifts like Serenity could also pose a problem.

• 1 Lander's Nylon Stocking (Opponent can not cancel your frenzies)
• 1 Lion's Pelt (Keeps Injured characters from being attacked)
• 2 Skins of the Hellbound (Keeps your characters safe from big Rage attacks.)
• 2 Spiral Boomerangs
• 2 Toga of Dionysous (Cancels pesky gifts like Heart of Fury away)

Events: 9 cards total

• 2 Beast-of-War Pack Totems (Give everyone +3 Rage - Rrrragh!)
• 3 Crescent Moons (Used to advance Lunar Phase up from New Moon)
• 1 Half Moon (A clincher to stop the New Moon)
• 3 Iron Wills (Potentially the best card from WotA. Cancels out gifts or Combat actions that disallow actions on the characters next round.)

• 1 Malfeas - Realm - (On defense all Wyrm Characters are tougher)
• 2 Rites of Summoning - (Make them attack you for a change)
• 2 Shapeshifts - Action - (Gets the gang in fighting form!)
• 3 Sneak Attacks - Action - (Never let `em know you're coming.)
• 1 Trinity Hive Caern - (All of Zyzhak's damage is aggravated, plus she inflates.)
