CHAPTER 11
Lauren looked at Brian, then at Nick, then back at Brian. They were both serious. "Oh my God, you're not kidding."
"Why would we be? You really do have good voices." Nick said.
"We'd never be able to do what you guys do." Cindy said.
Nick smiled. "It's not that hard when you love it. And all the love you get from the fans... It's worth it."
"Yeah, well, that's one major problem. We don't have fans." Lauren shrugged.
"That would be normal for someone who's only singing in her kitchen." Brian said. "And maybe in her shower too, cause that's just so common."
"But I'm sure you'll have tons of fans if you put out a record. You have nice voices and you're both beautiful. You're loveable."
"I'm loveable... Should I believe this from a guy who was hating me more than you can imagine just 3 months ago?" Lauren smirked.
Nick raised an eyebrow. "Don't try guilt on me."
"I know it's impossible to make you feel anything." She teased.
Nick crossed his arms on his chest. "Are you suggesting that I'm cold?"
"Uh-huh." Lauren nodded.
"Am not!"
"Are so!"
Cindy and Brian looked at each other and burst out laughing. "OK kids," Cindy said. "Dinner's ready. Stop fighting."
