CHAPTER 7
It had been two weeks since then. Brian hadn't told anybody was had happened that night and the nights after. Because for every single night after that first one, Liam had come back.
Brian was somewhere between nervous breakdown and total depression. Everybody had noticed the change in his mood the first days, but as time passed Brian built an emotional wall around himself. Nobody guessed that he still had the same problem. Everyone thought he was feeling perfectly fine. Everyone but Nick.
Because Nick knew Brian. He knew the happy, smiley Brian he had been since was just a front. And he knew that if Brian had been over whatever it was that bothered him, he would've told him what it was.
Brian wanted so much to tell him. But Liam didn't leave him alone often. It didn't seem so weird to other people that he followed Brian that much: he was his personal bodyguard and he only did his job. What they didn't know what that Liam was also protecting what he called 'their little secret' - that expression alone made Brian want to throw up.
And even the few times Brian was alone with Nick or anybody else, he couldn't tell. He had to decide between his happiness or Nick's. He still hadn't figured out who Liam's friend could've been. And firing the whole crew just to be sure to have fired the good one was impossible.
Of course Liam could've possibly lied about it, and there was nobody in the crew that fancied Nick. But it was a chance Brian would have to take if he talked. That's why Brian came up with an idea to get himself out of it. All he had to do now was to wait until the opportunity presented itself.
He hope it was going to be soon.
