Nick was hidden at the corner of the hall when he saw Liam get in Brian's room using his key. He waited a moment, then he heard Brian scream. They weren't screams of despair. They were screams of anger and Nick knew Brian was yelling at Liam.

"Don't do that, Brian, please." Nick said. "You're gonna make him so mad."

He let out a yell of surprise when someone poked his sides. He turned around and saw AJ. "Talking to yourself, Nicky? I knew you'd lose it someday." He laughed. "Whatcha doing here anyway? You look like a spy on mission."

Nick glared at him and gave him Brian's letter. Without saying a word, he went back to listening. They weren't anymore sounds coming from Brian's room. It was time to act. He looked back at AJ, who was staring at the letter, his face white.

"I- I don't believe this." He stuttered.

"Well, believe it. I just saw Liam get in Brian's room." Nick said. He took the letter from AJ's hand and put it back in his pocket. He started to walk towards Brian's door. AJ didn't move. Nick was about to knock when he was interrupted by AJ's voice.

"What are you doing?!"

"Shh, not so loud." Nick said, making a sign with his hands. "What does it look like? I'm bothering them."

"Nick, he's-"

He didn't finished his sentence. Nick had already knocked.
