The Babylon Project was our last, best hope for peace. A self-contained world five miles
long, located in neutral territory. A place of commerce and diplomacy for a quarter of a
million humans and aliens. A shining beacon in space, all alone in the night. It was the dawn
of the Third Age of Mankind...the year the Great War came upon us all. This is the story of
the last of the Babylon stations. The year is 2259. The name of the place is Babylon 5.
Opening Monologue, Babylon 5
Part 2 of the Ellipsian Babylon 5 Experience will focus on B5's prolific otherworldly citizens. Yup that's right - ALIENS! And let me tell you the B5 universe is chock full of wonderful and fascinating alien beings. One of my favorite pages is the Babylon 5's Ancients.

After their defeat 10,000 years ago, the Shadows were driven into hiding.
They slowly rebuilt their forces, but not secretly enough. A combined

During that war the Shadows used the Narn homeworld as an outpost. Most
of the Narn telepaths were slaughtered as the Shadows fear such
'mind-walkers'. The remaining telepaths past childbearing age united
With G'Quon and expelled the Shadows from their world...

Speaking of alien beings this next site just happens to profile an international favorite: Delenn! The Mira Furlan reference site is a very easy to read, easy to see site and just the thing for first time surfers. Visit and you'll find interesting choices: from articles, to video clips from

Above we have Ms. Mira Furlan out of costume and and in costume with Mr. Bill Mumy (isn't he adorable?) as Delenn and her faithful and (lately) feisty aide Lennier.
Remember the show "My Favorite Martian"? Well, with all due respect to the venerable Ray Walston, My favorite alien would probably be Babylon 5's own Kosh, the Vorlon. I'm not alone in this either. Just check out what the folks at Ask Kosh have to say:
