Ernie Belkner was introduced to painting during high school years,
Since 1991, Ernie has been a resident of the New Hampshire

at which time he was awarded a scholarship to the Museum of Fine
Arts School in Boston, but his career was interrupted by several
years of service in the Military. He is primarily self taught,
and has studied with local artists Doris Rice, Robert Steedman,
Peter Spataro and others.
Seacoast. New England landscapes and seascapes are his preferred
subject matter, as well as historical buildings and landmarks.

former officer of the SAA and has been a member since 1991.
