My name is Michael A. Roberts, I'm currently at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. I've been writing for about six years and that's what I want to do with my life. I'm engaged to a wonderful woman named Amy Green (We're getting married this summer). I also plan to be a profesor in some university, move to Scotland, win a Nobel Prize, and various other unrealistic things. This is my first web page (you can probably tell) so bear with me.
I am very interested in the poetry of a variety of authors, including Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac, T.S. Eliot, Ezra Pound, William Blake, Walt Whitman, Robert Burns, Taliesin, and a lot of others. I'm also into a variety of music, including Celtic Folk songs, '80's pop rock/heavy metal music (Metallica, Poison, Guns 'N' Roses, Skid Row, Warrant, Kiss, etc.) and I enjoy MUDding, reading, and goofing off. My favorite movies are BraveHeart and Pulp Fiction. My favorite actors are John Travolta, Mel Gibson, James Dean, Christopher Walken, Tom Hanks, and Kenneth Branagh. My favorite actresses are a little harder, because Hollywood doesn't seem to want to put women in good roles. This really sucks. I do like Kathy Bates, and Kate Winslet.
