My silent prayer

You're holding it in your hand.
I need my freedom,
so please don't break it.

You can do anything you want with it,
but I need to be taken seriously,
so I'm asking you not to toy with it.

Your eyes kept leaving marks on it.
If you don't want it, please leave it be.
Who knows, I might need it in the future.

If you drop it, it won't bounce.
It is fragile. It will break, so be careful.
After all, it's my heart we're talking about...
