Grand theft

When life is upside down,
when all the hope has left
I meet it with a frown,
let anger meet grand theft.

For truly it is stealing,
he stole my heart away,
and now he wants me kneeling,
wants words I will not say.

For cageing kills all tenderness.
Captive I will not be!
I will not be told what to dress,
no, not for any fee!
