MIRRORS
Sun baked rays,
throw dusty seams.
Catch a vision on the wall - an anxious face,
the reflection of a fall.
Funhouse mirrors,
confuse the illusion.
Gasping in fear.
Choking on sorrow.
Trapped and bewildered.
Fallen to knees.
Raising arms high,
begging for release.
Lifting head skyward,
eyes so haunted.
See a maze of mirrors.
Alone
So all alone,
in a maze of mirrors.
