Midge painted this beautiful winter setting
and felt it was one of her best works of art.
She  mailed this painting to me shortly after
the oil was dry.
I cried when I opened the gift and beheld the
beauty of the painting and the overwhelming
feelings of loving friendship being sent with it. 
This painting is a gift given from the heart...
the heart of a friend.
I will cherish it always and forever.

When gazing at this painting, I feel a sense of peace and tranquility.  I step inside the warm cabin, nestled in the snow covered scene of picturesque pines. 
The white tipped frosted mountain tops jut into the sky above, while billows of chimney smoke roll upward to the Heavens.
The  bridge connects me to everyone's somewhere.
Misty blues and grays envelope my spirit and calm my soul.  Peace is ever with me, as God's grace holds me close.  I curl in front of the fireplace.  I am alone but not lonely,  inside the warm snow covered cabin.
