When Abu Musa visited the Prophet in Madina, he was greeted by Prophet Mohammed by the famous words that have became a proverb ever since:

"People of Yemen have come to you. They are the most amiable and gentlehearted of men. Faith is of Yemen and wisdom is Yemeni"
