PHILOSOPHY
I got involved in philosophy by chance. When I started
to read I was told that most of the material I was reading was
Existential. This was fine with me but I had no idea
what they were talking about. So I decided I would look into existentialism.
I didn't find much information that was to my satisfaction.
It seems that the general concensus among the experts is that
existenialism deals with personal existence and how
an individual deals with life.
That made things even murkier for me to understand. I always thought
that that was the aim of all philosphy. I still haven't figured out what
makes Existentialsim so different from other philosophies. Perhaps because
it teaches one to concentrate on themselves as opposed to the objective world.
