Everyone is a stranger
Wearing a friend's mask,
leaving me alone,
with  no one to trust.

An emotional retreat
is now in progress
for the immediate purpose
of saving my sanity.

I wish it were possible
to not be afraid.
But it's not a perfect world
and you've proved it once again.
