Here are two of the jewels in my crown. Aleisha is my youngest grandchild (at nearly 2) and Allanah is almost 3. |

Andrew and Drea are my grandchildren but they live with us. I have had custody of them for five years now and will be officially adopting them before the end of this year. As you can see, they are my true treasures. |

Ryan is my eldest grandchild. This picture is a little old but I'll have a more current one soon. We don't get to see him as much as we'd like but we all still love him very much. |

And here's the promised picture of David. He's dressed to present a history assignment. What a retro kid! He'll be a senior this September. |

GG came to us by accident (or rather by avoiding one). I had to pick up my son, David, from school for a dental appointment. Upon arriving at the school I noticed that he had stopped a school bus and was busy rummaging under parked cars. It seems that GG had either been abandoned or had gotten lost and was in danger of being "smushed". David got the kitten, looked up to see |

Molly is a German Short-haired Pointer. She is nearly fourteen years old and has become a "lap" dog. At over 65 pounds that can prove to be a little inconvenient for us. She has adopted GG (above) and Nicodemus (below) as her pups and, to their chagrin, checks them out every time they come into the room. She's a little slower and less agile nowadays but she's loved by all and is always ready to lend an ear or give us kisses when we're down. |

Nicodemus came to us after the death of our 12 year old Tews. He was waiting in front of our neighborhood Target and survived a harrowing roller blade ride home. He even won over my husband, a former anti-cat person. |

We live in a suburb of Los Angeles but that doesn't stop our wild friends from visiting. In addition to the squirrels, who have taken over my back yard and who scold me if I'm late in putting out their nuts and seeds, we have an occasional opossum and lots of birds. Joining the squirrels in their scolding is a one legged scrub jay. He's a bit shy but I'll get a good picture of him yet. As you can see, the squirrels are fearless and often chase the cats around the yard. The black and white cat is a neighbor who often comes over to play with Nicodemus. |
