I haven't done much work in wire wrap but, with the inspiration of several wonderful web sites, plan to do more in the future. I noticed a great jig setup on one of the sites and it has set my mind to wandering.
Jade Jumble
My first "self-expression" by way of wire wrap. The accent beads are jade. I antiqued the chain to match the metal beads.
Crystals and Pearls
I was taught how to wire wrap by the lovely lady from JewelArt. This one is pearls and crystals.
Jade Devotional
My daughter, Melinda, requested a rosary type necklace. When I asked her to be more specific, she told me that she "trusted" my taste. I promptly ordered her to meet me at the beadshop so that SHE had to pick out the beads, chain, fittings, etc. While I have no problem planning and executing designs I prefer to have some idea of what the recipient would like. Didn't turn out too badly did it?
Amethyst Drop
My grandchildren go to the YMCA every day after school. They are lucky enough to have some wonderful caregivers.
This is my thank you to Iris.
Silver and Pearls
And this is my thank you gift to Pat. Her birthstone is pearl sooooo. . . .

Wire People
I found the cutest book by Mary Harrison called "Itty Bitty Beadys" chocked full of ideas for darling little wire people to use as charms, earrings, ornaments, barrettes, (well you get the picture). Anyway these two are my first attempts. The beads were from my $2 thrift store bag of jewelry. Boy has it come it handy.
