| .....she had wanted nothing but love from this man who had entered her life during a moment when love shouldn't have been even thought about. And yet here he was with all his kindness, strength and passion that any woman could want. He asked nothing of her but to share her life with him. His, was a life of travel, parties, money and making decisions quickly. Decisions that she would have to take time and ponder over. Yet he makes them with a wave of his hand. His hand - so big and gentle was that hand that when he lovingly laid it against her cheek she knew that nothing on God's earth could penetrate. She had never been loved with such completeness. No other man had ever given her a second thought - until this man. This man - with his curly gray hair, warm sensitive smile and hearty laughter chose her. With all of her faults and imperfections - she had been the one that had completed his puzzle - called life. |

| ....she had been standing just inside the main door of the ballroom. Waiting for him had become a second occupation for her and yet, she never minded. The night had been arranged for months and although neither of them particularly enjoyed events of this magnitude here she was waiting for him. She had to go home to change and it was decided it would be faster if he just met her there from the office. So she waited, in her dark red, a-line formed gown. Her diamond earrings, small black handbag and thin black shawl were her only accessories. Patiently she waited even after it became dark and the slight breeze had turned cold. He said he would be there - that's all she needed to know. Then as the clock struck ten the door opened with the last few guests who had arrived late and she saw his face. Hesitantly she reached out and touched his arm as he passed by. No one else would probably have even felt such a light touch but he did. Stopping in his tracks, his smile was already there when he looked down at her. "You should have waited for me inside, where it was warmer," he said lovingly as he wrapped his arm around her. "I didn't want to miss you," she replied looking up at him and grinning. "I would have found you anywhere you were, don't you know that by now," he whispered before kissing her. |

| ....he had known, many women, in different ways. Every- one had been beautiful. Then he saw her. She wasn't even average looking but she had large blue eyes that he could get lost in. A laugh that was rich and honest. He was drawn to her and no one could understand why, especially her. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| .....she had been alone. And he thought she was a gift from God. She was serious to his sense of humor. She was teasingly funny to his business type nature. They loved each other - and she had loved him more than she ever thought possible. He loved her. No, he was in love with her. |

| ...once again his arms were wrapped around her. As always her soft face was buried against his neck. He could feel her breathe in his scent and he grinned. No one had ever loved him with the intensity that she did. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ....he had been watching her all evening. She had arrived with friends but had separated herself from them earlier. He had approached her, almost nervously - hesitating, he allowed another to dance with her. Then it happened, she had disappeared. He had only looked away from her for a moment. Then, a small, very feminine hand was touching his arm. "This is my favorite song. Would you dance with me?" Holding her so close was wonderful. She was exactly where she was meant to be - deeply, enclosed within his arms. He smiled. |

| .....she recognized him immediatley. Never in her life had she seen such a handsome man. And his smile - how glorious it was! Then, as she watched him, from a safe distance, his smiling eyes caught her blue ones. She tried to look away, but he wouldn't let go. Her heart began to race and the air around her grew tight. Then - as if the floor had begun to move he was growing closer. Somewhere nearby, she could hear a conversation. Someone asked her a question, she thought. However, he was still coming nearer. All she could see was him. When they were only inches apart, she smiled. When his large manly hands engulfed hers, all she could do was stare at them. For some reason her hands fit inside of his perfectly. "I knew this would happen, tonight," he said quietly. She had become unable to know, or hear, or see anyone but him. And his statement was true for her too. He was not perfect. Nor was he the type of man others might have chosen for her. However, in her heart, she had always known he would come. In his eyes, she saw all of her tomorrows and in his voice she heard the hope that only love can give. It was right. He was right for her. When she took a step closer to him, he sensed that she felt it all too. This was love. A love that had begun in imagination and had become, reality. |

| ...in his eyes she saw strength, kindness and compassion. She watched him talk to most of the people and smile at all of the women. She suddenly felt foolish for even wishing he'd notice her. They were seated at the same table. For almost an hour she sat acorss from him trying not to look at him. Then she caught him looking at her several tmes. Each time his smile made her grin back. He was sitting between a blond and a red head so she figured he was just being polite. The band played all sorts of music and although no one asked her to dance she watched him dance every slow one. It was almost midnight when she decided to leave. No one would notice so even though the band began playing her favorite slow song she stood to leave. "We haven't been introduced but I've been watching your all evening." It was him and those wonderful eyes were on her. "I also know that this is your favorite song." She was so surprised that she only smiled. For her, time had stopped and when he reached for her, she hesitated. It was only after she was in his arms and dancing did she breathe. |

| "...I want to go home. " "I'm your home" he asked almost breathlessly. "You are my morning, my smile, my wonder, my love, my today, my tomorrow - you are my dream. Yes, you are my home. You are my sancuary. I need no material things - if I have you in my life. Trust, love, peacefulness, friendship and togetherness are the walls of our home. And God surrounds it and us. Yes - you are my home." |

| ...her laughter was what he heard first and he smiled. Since meeting her, his life had grown in wondrous ways. He was suddenly filled with a loving tenderness that would make him shudder. Then there were moments when she'd, for no reason, wrap her arms around him - as if he were some cherished prize. What she saw in him - no other ever had seen and what she gave him no other man had ever dreamt existed. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
