This is my my family. I suppose they are my legacy as is my writing. I hope you enjoy the pictures. God Bless you for visiting my site.

These are my parents. Paul and Ellen Flowers. They were married November 1, 1947. They've both lived here in mid-Michigan all of their lives. My dad's occupation was - a printer by trade. He ran the big presses at a local newspaper and then went to work at the Saginaw News.
My parents married late in life but we kept them young - at least they always told us that.
My sisters and I were born when they were in their late thirties. My mom was a devoted housewife/mother and wife. She also drove school bus for ten years and loved it.
I couldn't have asked for better parents. Their unconditional love has sustained me and will continue to do so for the rest of my life.
My mom died in September of 1992 from cancer and heart failure. Her death brought a whole new definition to the word - sad. It was probably the worst time in my life.
I now take care of my dad, who ironically has heart failure too. We have a wonderful relationship. I am more than his middle daughter - I am his friend. Someone he can depend on, no matter what, just like I've always depended on him.

I'm very sad to say that my dad died May 21, 2000.
I am now a caregiver with no one to care for. I feel all the natural feelings except my loss is deeper because not only did I lose my Dad, I also lost my friend, confidant, protector, advisor and at the end - my child.
I will always love them, miss them and be totally thankful to God for having been blessed with them as my parents for as long as I live.

This is my Great Aunt Ellen Perry. She was my mom's mother's sister.
She was also my best friend. She encouraged my writing from the
beginning. She was a first rate journalist who had enormous faith in God. She died in 1981 from heart failure. It was the first time in my life that I had lost someone who had meant so much to me. I still cry when I
think about how much I miss her.
She was my friend as well as my aunt.

This is my oldest niece, Stacy Marie Harrison. This is her senior picture and I think she's beautiful. When she was little we did almost everything together. We would
take adventures (trips) in the summer to lighthouses, zoos, the circus, and we hung
out like buddies. I know I have helped spoil her but it was so much fun. We use to go the drive-ins and watch scary movies. She loves them still! She has become my
friend and I love her, will always love her. Maybe not always agree with the things
she does.....but I will always love her :-)

SHE IS MY WISH!

This is my oldest nephew Matthew Paul Hilton Harrison. This is his senior picture (that thought blows my mind still) and I think he is very handsome, He has a smile that could win over the devil himself.
We have taken many adventures together, too. He and Stacy belong to my younger sister and her husband. They live across the street
so I get him quite often. He is a computer whis (I owe him a big
thank you for any knowledge I process). I on the other hand introduced him to hockey - he's hooked.

HE IS MY HEART!

Due to the child protection laws I can't put the names of my younger niece and nephew on this site.
I know you will understand.

This is my second nephew. He's an all A student and loves to play sports. He's a big boy but
he still lets me hug and kiss him :-) We have taken a few
adventures - he has a wonderful laugh.

HE IS MY HOPE!

This is my second nieces. She loves school and she loves to read. Like her brother she's into sports
because anything Mark can do - so can she. Their mom is my older sister.
