The New Dream, really just a new incarnation of the old one, appears as a pale young man dressed all in white with white hair. He is still very much dedicated to his duty, but he is slightly different from his pretocesor. Whereas the old Dream would have taken vengance on Hippolyta Hall for helping kill him and almost destroying the Dreaming, the New Dream embraces her, blessing her, then sends her back to her own world. The old Dream would never concieve of sitting out on the front steps of his palace conversing with the guards and petting the gryphon, but this is one of the first images we see of the New Dream. He is sweet, a little unsure about what he is meant to do, but still has the same quiet intensity and brooding quality of his pretocesor. We don't know for certain how Daniel, now Dream of the Endless, will fare yet, but from what we know of him, I have nothing but the upmost confidence in his abilities to create for us dreams unimagined and unthinkable and to enchant us for a long time to come.

"You have my mark on you. Go in peace, Hippolyta Hall."
