Warhammer Fantasy Battle Armies

These are two introductory armies that I am currently painting. They are in 500 point blocks. The reason I have two, is so that my friends who do not want to shell out the big bucks (not that I make `em), can play with me. I also do this to be able to introduce the game to people who might otherwise not be interested in such things. Most people, when the see the models think they look cool, until I go into the amount of real work that it is. It's still pretty fun, though.

My first army is a Wood Elf army, I identify with them because of their innate xenophobic nature. The concept that speaks to me greatly is basically, `do not tresspass or die'. Works for me.

Regiments:Archers, Regiment A, 11 models @ 13 points each =143

Wood Elf General, Attached to Regiment A, 1 model @ 160 points = 160

Glade Gaurds, Regiment B, 9 modesl @ 12 = 108

WayWatchers, Regiment, C, 5 models @ 18 = 90

Grand Total, 501 points, 31 models.

My second army is an Orc & Goblin army. They are just too much fun, and are too damn stupid for anything but pure entertainment value! Curiously enough, they win from time to time, not that I've got the lot of them painted...

Mobs:Night Goblin (w/bow), Regiment A, 22 models @ 3 = 66

Night Goblin Standard Bearer, Attached to Regiment A, 1 model @ 6 = 6

Night Goblin Musician, Attached to Regiment A, 1 model @ 6 = 6

Night Goblin Boss, Attached to Regiment A, 1 model @ 15 = 15

Night Goblin Fanatics, Attached to Regiment A, 3 models @ 30 = 90

Mobs:Squig Hoppers, Regiment B, 2 models @ 25 = 50

Mobs:Orc Boyz w/shield, Regiment C, 21 models @ 6.5 = 136.5

Orc Standard Bearer, Attached to Regiment C, 1 model @ 13 = 13

Orc Musician, Attached to Regiment C, 1 model @ 13 = 13

Warlord Orc, Attached to Regiment C, 1 model @ 110 = 110

My Warlord Orc currently is getting a bit of an upgrade - I have the model complete, but I'm hacking up a Bretonnian knight for effect on his base, especially if I can get half of him hanging off of the axe. I'm working on some photographs now - will post `em here when I can.
