Allegany County, Maryland

Allegany County, the Mountain Side of Maryland. The only interesting part of Maryland excepting certain areas around the bay and ocean. Major cities in Allegany County in clude Cumberland, Frostburg (which is what I'll have the most pictures of), Mt. Savage, Lonaconing, and Oldtown.

You can visit two state parks, Rocky Gap, and Dan's Mountain. They provide sailing, swimming, fishing, camping, hiking, guided tours and wildlife for you to enjoy. Of course, since I'm lazy and prefer photography to physical activity, I'll just wander around and take

pictures. Which is another thing to do in Western Maryland; art. It's beautiful in all seasons (although you won't catch me out at winter). Plenty of opportunities for painting landscapes, nature photography and street photography.

Anyway, the rest of this page will consist of tourist information, links, and a seasonal picturial page of Frostburg by *Me*. Obviously, it's not done yet, so keep checking in.
