Bunch of Haikus
Traveling through life
A ghost born of human flesh
Yet red blood runs hot
Noticed by few
He walks through the crowded streets
Completely alone
Sometimes moonlight casts
A knowledge of who we are
Enabling sight
The hawk flys with grace
I stumble along through life
My wings are broken
Snow blanketed limbs
Outstretched in agony
Blackened frostbite
Breath puffs without sound
Crystals in the winter night
tears trace icicles
Drunk on a Monday
Staggering home all alone
Another night gone
Warmth from a window
Unreal from this end of life
Back to the cold road
White blanket covers
A dirty brown and red world
Feigning purity
Cats play through the night
I sit alone by lamplight
My love fast asleep
House creaks with winter
The ache from bitter cold
I won't sleep tonight
I sit in darkness
Encompassing my small room
Hiding from myself
My cat licks my nose
Proving to me once again
Life is wonderful
We do not change
We just tell you otherwise
We will always lie
Thoughts unleashed at night
Making my bed a soft tomb
Insane view from here
Pale light of morning
reaches me through troubled sleep
renewing my faith
