Wind rushes through the trees,
Carrying with it the scents and suggestions of places
So far away, yet so near.....
And within me the scents bring back memories,
Of friends, smiles shared, love, and dreams.

And lost within the memories I see the glittering blue marble...
That is our world,
Small and blue....
And for a moment I feel the awe of how small humanity is in the face of things,
So small, yet so capable of destructive hatred, and amazing love.

That is the moment I also know that I am a woman,
A dreamer, a mother, wife, lover, partner, daughter, sister, and friend,
And within me lies the most immense of powers, the most magestic of dreams.....
That of peace and love.
