Feeding the Flock Libby's traveling nurse job took us to Brandon, Florida (near Tampa) in June 1994. We made the mistake of feeding some ducks outside our apartment one day. They each brought two friends, who then they each brought two friends, and so on, and so on... Before we knew it, thirty or more ducks would show up wanting to be fed. They even got to know our truck and would come waddling at top speed when we pulled into a parking space. They were not at all shy of humans, as this photo demonstrates.
