Rosebud Bissendhund
AKA Rosie
I
adopted Rosie in November 1990 with my girlfriend at the time, Cindy Shaw.
She was a full-size AKC registered Dachshund. Her mother was "Redbud
Rose," so we named her "Rosebud," or Rosie for short. The
last part of her AKC name means "biting dog" in German. She
earned that name from her habit as a puppy of biting our lips at every
opportunity.
As in the case with the dogs I had when I was married to my first wife (Muffin and Biscuit), when the relationship with Cindy ended, so did
my relationship with Rosie.
