Submission Guidelines
I will be accepting poetry submissions from readers until further notice. I can't promise I will use everything I get but I will try my best to get back to you as soon as possible. If you follow the guidelines below you have as good a chance as anyone else.
- First of all, use good judgement with your submissions. Try to keep with the spirit of the other poetry on the site. Send only your best.
- Send more than one poem if you have them, but no more than 3 at a time.
- Send poems in the body of an email exactly as you would have them appear on the page. If there are any special directions about form please include those as well, including words that need to be put in bold or itatlicized type.
- Check poems carefully for errors. Misspellings make me look bad too. If it is an intentional misspelling for the sake of the poetry please make a notation about it. I will return work that isn't neat if i notice it.
- Include whether or not you would like to recieve email feedback and to what address you want it sent.
- Include a short bio if you would like one posted with your work.
- Please wait until you have heard back about your submissions before submittinmg more.
- This isn't a requirement, but if you would like to get feedback about your own poetry, try reading and commenting on someone else's.
- I must ask that, if accepted, you link back to the main page to show off your work, where visitors will have a chance to see the whole site.
Featured Authour
I am begining a new section in which I will showcase one author for a month at a time. If you would like to be a Featured Author please adhere to the above guidelines, with the following exceptions:
- Please send at least 5 poems at a time.
- In the subject field of the email please type "Featured Author"
- You must include a short bio.
I'm afraid I will have to ignore all submissions who don't conform to theses guidelines
