I Learned it all in High School
My semi-tribute to the Robert Fulghum (All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten)

Most of what I really need to know about how to live, and what to do, and how to be I learned in high school. Here is what I learned: timing isn't everything, but given the oppurtunity I could eat a seven course meal, change my clothes four times, and get from New York City to Los Angelos in under 30 minutes. I learned to read an entire text book in fifteen minutes, and can write a 1000 word essay in twenty minutes.
Time, indicative of most things in life, is what you make of it; forty minutes could seem like three hours or ten seconds depending on your attitude.
High school has taught me that people usually aren't on the pedestals you put them on, and friends usually aren't forever. The world does not contain only great people, but your world can.
I learned the work ethic, and know that mistakes, while okay to make, sometimes count against us. I have learned that blaming and complaining don't work; even if it is someone else's fault you should take responsibility.
I know of all the wonderful oppurtunities that wait outside the lab rat infested walls; I know I can't do anything, but I have more choices than my grandmother did.
I learned that my beliefs will be challenged, but I have to hold on to them if I want to make something of myself.
I learned that if I so choose I'll never stop learning.
Most importantly amidst all the lying, cheating, and partying high school is notorious for- I have rememberd not to forget the things I learned in kindergarten.
