After a year of publication, I thought it might be good for me to update this section and write about any changes or additions to the mission and purpose of 212 Degrees—Boiling Point. I also need to report how much God has worked through my efforts and how He has blessed this ministry far beyond my expectations, goals, and dreams. So now, in September of 2000 and in the 11th issue of 212 Degrees—Boiling Point, I am writing to touch base with the readers of this magazine.
It has been about a year and a half since God first gave me the main idea for 212 Degrees—Boiling Point. And it was in September of last year (1999) that I finally released issue number one. In some ways, that seems like only yesterday and I can’t believe it’s been so long! In other ways, that seems like so very long ago…:)
Throughout the past year we have studied all the fruits of the Spirit, we’ve taken a good look at what worship is, and we’ve covered a number of smaller topics in each issue of the magazine. Over the months I’ve introduced several new sections to 212 Degrees—Boiling Point, including a links page, a humor page, spotlight songs and featured artists in the Main Stage, a mission’s report section, as well as a few others. And there’s more to come!! I’m excited about the next year…excited about what God is going to do in this next year!
I would like to thank you all for so faithfully reading 212 Degrees—Boiling Point. And especially thanks to those who have emailed me with encouragement, thoughts, ideas, questions, or just to say hello. I appreciate that so very much! :) And above all, I thank my Heavenly Father who has chosen me as His tool for this project. He’s the real Editor in Chief here, and He’s the reason I do this. All praise, honor, and glory goes to Him….:)
