Have you ever considered going on a summer mission trip to a foreign country or a needy area in your own country? Well, now is the time to start thinking about it! With only a few months left before summer 2001 arrives, trips all around the world are being planned and set up right now!
So I've gathered together a short list of mission organizations out there that are planning summer mission trips. This list is by no means complete--there are tons of mission trips available, and I could never list them all. But this should give you an idea of a few places to start looking if you think you might want to spend your summer witnessing and evangelizing to people in a different part of the world. So visit a few of these websites, but, most of all, I advise you to pray and ask the Lord what He wants you to do with your summer. If He wants you to go somewhere to preach the Gospel and share His Word in another country (or your own!), He'll definitely let you know! And, if that's His Will for your life, you can bet He'll guide you into making the right decisions about where to go and who to go with and how the trip will be financed, etc. So, above all else, talk to God before you make any plans!!

Now, I can't say from personal experience that any of these organizations are "the best" or even "good" to go with, but I have heard good things from other people who have been on trips with some of these different organizations. The bottom line is this: before you consider going on a trip with any specific organization, do your homework and find out as much information as you can about them. And, of course, PRAY about it! :)
