Salvation Full and Free

visualize Calvary’s stench
Roman- made crosses lined
dried blood on beaten ground
cries of pain, agony, woe.

spear pierced side
crown of thorns
Righteous One crucified
woman on her knees
a life-pleading cry
voices full of hatred
tears of pain

persecution wicked and vile
malice-filled hearts
He was pure and holy
forgiveness: granted
without asking

unconditional love
full and free
a Savior died
for you.
for me.

Tribute to Scott and Jo

In your commitment to serve Christ,
You became servants of the youth.
And you showed up each Wednesday night
To share with us the Word.

You spent countless hours publicly building up our faith
As together we built relationships solid as brick walls.
Yet far more time you spent in prayer, when no one was watching:
Faithfully, you brought our needs before the Most High God.

You opened up your hearts to us,
Sharing more than just your passion for God,
But also your dedication and devotion to the Lord as well as us.
And we saw your faithfulness in everything you did.

As servants of Christ, you modeled commitment,
Following God's call, wherever He led.
And though He's led you away from us for now,
We will forever treasure your place within our hearts.

~Scott and Jo, thanks for all you've done for us at FLO. We will miss you greatly, but we pray for God's blessing on you where you're at right now.

Each Breath

Each breath that I'm given
Another moment of life
Another chance to love
To serve
To honor
A gift
A treasure
A blessing
Something of worth
Invaluable
Indescribable
An opportunity
To act
To be
Each breath that I'm given
A chance to live for Him.
