MISSION'S REPORT

Well, no one sent in any "mission's reports" for this issue...so please, if you have been on a mission's trip before, send me your "report" for the next issue! :)
I myself have never been on a mission's trip before, though I would love to go on one someday. But I do have something I can share here... My pastor and his wife, along with another man from my church, are in Ethiopia (Africa) right now, delivering and setting up sound equipment and supplies for a crusade that is going on over there. They've gone to help out some missionaries to that area who used to go to my church before they began their mission's work in Ethiopia. Since they have some access to the internet, my pastor has been able to send back some reports of happenings over there for us here to read.
God is working mightily over there in Ethiopia, but not without some serious opposition from the enemy. Spiritual warfare is heavy right now...so for those of you who will, it'd be great if you could say a prayer for them. Lots has been happening, and God is receiving the glory and praise...but as always, satan loves to take that glory away and keep it for himself. But we know that God is more powerful, and that His plans will be victorious!
The area they are in right now has been in a serious drought for a long time... the first night that they preached in the crusade, the weather changed drastically. It began to pour, and the wind was so terrible that the tent they were to hold the crusade in was destroyed! The Muslims there mocked them and said that their god Allah was punishing them for coming. Well...they began the crusade anyways (out in the open air), and between 6 to 8 thousand people attended. The drama "Heaven's Gates, Hell's Flames" was a part of the crusade. Around 200 people gave their lives to Jesus, and most of those were Muslims! My pastor said that those Muslims who accepted Christ were immediately persecuted by the others from the second they converted. Standing for Christ is a statement there that is not taken lightly...
God is doing great things over there, and I trust He will continue to bring walls down in the lives of those who attend that crusade. Please do keep them in prayer...they really need it! And thanks for reading this...I look forward to featuring YOUR mission's report in next month's issue. :)
