--Kasey's Story # 5--

"S O S"

I was walking in a forest and saw all the garbage. I was saying to myself, "Why do people throw garbage".
"Don't they know they are polluting and making the water green. Do they want the animals to drink that water?" I like the animals of the forest and the trees are so pretty.

I ran back and told my friends at school the next day.

They came to my house and we made signs. We took the signs and showed the teacher. We asked, "Can we go outside and pick up the garbage." He said, "Yes, we will". We then went outside with two garbage bags. We picked all the garbage in the school yard. There were five big bags of garbage. One of the boys had some cans, another had paper and another had glass in it.
On earth day everyone was so surprised there was no garbage left in the yard. When everyone got home, they picked up all of the garbage.
On the weekend, everyone came to the forest and picked up all the garbage and cleaned it up, which made the water blue again. "We lived happily **Un-garbaged**".
