Welcome to the Beads In Fashion Gallery Showcase Web Ring! Beads In Fashion is a OneList.com mailing list comprised of well over one hundred talented bead artists and artisans from around the world. Many of these artists have web sites, and most of those web sites have galleries stuffed with delightful beadwork. This web ring aims to link those galleries, creating a "mini-tour" of the work of our creative BIF artists. If you are a member of BIF, this is the ring for you! It is also a great way to increase traffic to your site. This ring is open only to active members of the Beads In Fashion mailing list. The intent of this ring is to present the work of BIF member artists. If you do not own an on-line gallery of your work yet, contact the ringmistress below and we'll see what we can do. If you do have a gallery of your beadwork, please place the ring HTML on the main page of this gallery only. Please DO NOT place this code on any other type of page without prior approval. If you wish to direct visitors to other areas of your site, please link to those areas from your gallery page.

NOTE! I have altered the WebRing so that now when you sign up, you will receive the proper code either on a cut-and-paste page, or in an e-mail. Also, if you experience difficulties, I can mail you the code. I will leave the following instructions up, though, in case someone needs them.

In order to place the ring table image on your gallery page, you will need to copy the HTML source code from this page. Right-click on this page after it has fully loaded and choose "view source" from the menu. A new window (or Notepad document) containing the HTML code for this page will appear. Highlight the HTML fragment from "begin cut here" through "end cut here." MSIE users can simply copy this fragment from Notepad and paste it into your gallery page using your HTML editor. Netscape users should highlight the fragment and press "ctrl+C" on your keyboard. You can then use the right-click paste command to place the code into your HTML editor.

This is a base form and has certain blanks in it you will need to replace with your personal ring information. Your ring ID number will be e-mailed to you once you are accepted for the ring, so don't worry about not having it right now. Your ring will not function anyway until after you have been assigned a number and have been placed into the queue. After you have placed this code on your gallery page AND have received your acceptance e-mail with ring ID number, MAKE SURE that wherever you see _YOUR_ID#_HERE_ you replace it all (underscores, too) with the ID number sent.

Replace YOUR_E-MAIL_HERE with your full e-mail address, and replace YOUR_NAME with the name under which you want your ring site to be known. For instance, I could use "Charlene" on my ring, but could also choose "Charlene's Beaded Jewelry," my site name. That's purely up to you.
