I Can't Change Me

    I can't change me
How dare I think of changing you?
    I am thankful for
so loving me the way you do
    for understanding
that we're designed to be our ways
    for accepting
all my faults, my nights, and days.
    You give me freedom
a pair of silver wings to fly
    to the silver clouds
the very heart of the blue sky.
    I am when with you
a person who's good by nature
    Whatever I do
you take it as if it brings you pleasure
    You let me be me
    hand in hand we're walking
I'm me and you are you
On the same star we're riding
    I can't change my nights
I dare not think of changing your days
    and I am grateful
that we're designed to be this way..
