Hello again all! ‘tis the season to be spooky!! This is my favorite season and one of my favorite holidays. The night when little children dress in scary and adorable costumes, when children around the age of 15 are wondering just why the hell they can’t go trick or treat and adults go to parties dressed as the absurd and goolies. What am I doing!? Well, since you asked so nice..ahmen. I am exacting my revenge on society for creating that absurd rule about trick or treating to a certain age. I create a spook house along with affects and make up to scare the beejeebeez out of children that trot up to my door. Usually it’s the parents that outrun their kids to the car! Sorry I just take a sinful delight in scaring the hell out of adults!! Anyway, that’s what I’ll be doing this year. Also thinking hard on the issues of all supernatural things (let’s encompass them all shall we) out there not just on Halloween but all the time. As any of you regulars will know my Doorway to the Unknown is over to the right and has a bunch of stories and links. For this great Holiday thought I’m going to incorporate some links just for Halloween and kids, since really the fun of the holiday is for the wee ones. To me it’s an introspective time to think... actually..most times to me are introspective!

The mystery of human kind comes back to haunt all those that think of themselves "civilized". Trying to give everything a scientific explanation and rational. Thinking of work, kids, family...cars, TV, politics. All very "civilized". Then October 31st rolls around and every human quakes a little inside... weather in fear or anticipation...who's to say but it's there! That unknown possibility that the worlds between the living and the dead are close together. That they interconnect at some juncture to become one, causing all of us to be closer to the unknown then ever. Is it all just superstition from days long since forgotten..? Or is there perhaps truth laying in the hedonistic children's holiday?....Come with me as we explore!
