I'm not waiting for sunshine.... Not waiting for rain...

I'm not waiting for winter.... To chill me again...

I'm not waiting for summer... Or Autumn or Spring....

I'm not waiting for flowers... To dance and to sing....


I'm not waiting for peace.... Though it would be nice if it came...

And I'm not waiting for war... Don't want to see that again..

I'm not waiting for the coming... Of no devil or lord...

I don't want to be saved... Or even adored...

I'm not waiting for life.... To grab me and fly...

I'm not waiting for the reaper... To tell me to die....

I'm not waiting for advice... Or to be told what to do...

I'm not waiting for direction.... Don't want to enter on cue...

And I'm not waiting for justice... I don't have that much time...

I'm not waiting for freedom.... That mountains too high to climb...

And I'm not waiting for success..... And those bank balance lies....

I'm not waiting to be worthy... In anyones eyes....

I'm just waiting for you hon... I've been waiting so long....

Minutes turn into hours... Poems turn into songs.....

I'm just waiting for you Joy... Take my hand...lets be free....

Just don't make me wait any longer.... Come and be here with me.
