Busy in a good way.

On my way to work on Friday my stupid car started sputtering and dying....great, just what I needed, I knew just what was wrong though, I've been burning oil at an alarming rate for a while now and I'm going through a set of spark plugs every 5 months or so. I changed the plugs during lunch (missed an appointment for a small freelance job). I broke down at my old place of work; The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, so I got to see some old friends while I worked.

Today:
I found out yesterday that my Tax return ($1775.00) came in, so it was off to do some Car shopping - not to replace my oil-burning Festiva, but to get some reliable and roomy family transportation. After looking at some mini-vans we finally ended up getting a 1992 Taurus station wagon. man, it's the nicest thing I've owned... power everything! I don't have tons of disposable income (actually none) but I got the payments down to $140 per month for four years. this car should last four years without too much trouble (knock on wood).

Then it was Buger King food in front of the TV during the Blazer vs. Warriors game it went into double overtime with the Blazers finally loosing. This Saturday Calvin and I have tickets to see the Blazers play this same team! should be fun!

My journal-buddy Roger are going to try and keep eachother going on our web-diary projects. the goal? 100 entries by Valentine's Day 2000!

Piece o' cake....right Rog?

The new(ish) car owner.
