I'm now a member of the open pages webring.
My journal index now has the most recent entries at the top to save you valuable time!

Life rolls along, but it's cruising at a relentless pace. It has been nine days since I last wrote. It's not that I have lost interest in online journaling, it's just I occasionally get out of the habit when the rest of my life is screaming for my immediate, undevided attention.
Take the events of yesterday as an example...

Sunday, my mother-inlaw woke up with an asthma attack that turned the smallest task into a challenge to breathe. Rather than immediately going off to the ememrgency room, she waited until late into the evening before going in for her treatments. The liscence and insurance-less Holly had borrowed one of thier cars earlier that day to drive a friend home 100 miles away. That left Monica (with a migraine) and I to tend to the myriad of need of all the children. I ran out to "Taco Bell" for a hearty and nutritious dinner for the ad hoc Brady Bunch that was gathered at my house.

Bloated on "Burrito Supremes", Monica ran Cameron and Shelby down to my mother-inlaw's house so they could get some sleep. I took care of the bed-time routine of my own two kids... it was nearly midnight.

I cleaned a little around the house and then fell asleep in front of the TV. At about 2 a.m. I was roused out my slumber by Monica returning from her late night baby-sitting duty. I was more than ready for bed. At 2:30 my father-inlaw called to inform me that he found a baby Opussom. Thrilling.

By 3:30, Holly had just pulled in from "who-knows-where" hours late... Monica's Mother was admitted into The Providence Medical Center Respiratory Unit for observations, Monica had a blinding headache, couldn't sleep and was dreading the child-caresituation of the coming days... and Ted was fretting over his new-found orphaned marsupial friend. All I want is sleep.

...just wanting to simplify.
