"Ther is nothing in the universe that I fear but that I shall not know all my duty, or shall fail to do it." -- Mary Lyon
8/12/99 Another brick in the wall.

I don't think I have ever had a week quite like this.
Maybe it has something to do with the solar eclipse in Europe, or maybe I just have a case of the "brown-luck".

A truck full of lima beans has jack-knifed on the interstate bridge, stranding me at work for the time being. That's okay, I needed a few minutes to catch my breath and relax... if that's possible under these circumstances.

Monica woke me up as she was coming to bed last night,
I don't remember going to bed, I know I skipped dinner, but I don't remember going to bed.

"My head is killing me."

"I'm sorry."

"I ran out of my pain pills, thanks to this toothache...."

"Already?"

Next morning, this morning...off to work, noon was here before I knew it. I skipped lunch again, I needed to call Monica and Dr. Romanovsky. Ugh, maybe later when I don't feel like throwing up. Before I could dodge my responsibilities, Monica called me, to remind me that she felt awful, and that she ran out of medicine.

Better get things settled.

Yippee! tommorrow is Friday the 13th.
