"Life is the art of drawing sufficient conclusions from insufficient premises." -- Samuel Butler
9/15/99 Premonitions.

Ever get a feeling of dread?

Let me start out by saying I don't believe in biorhythms, astrology or luck. Superstitions are for weak willed people that want to toss the blame of thier failure on some invisible boogieman. (I however place the blame of my personal failures on "honest -to-goodness" boogie-men).

I woke up this morning with the feeling that something bad was going to happen. Don't ask me what it was. Was it because I had a bad dream last night? I dreampt that Monica left me for Larry.
Larry is Holly's current (former) boyfriend. Larry is 25-ish, job-less, and car-less (actually liscense-less). Larry has been staying at Monica's folks house (just 2-doors down from my house) doing odd-jobs. Larry as a small vocabulary. Nobody wants to be replaced by an inferior model.

Maybe I feel like doom is impending because my job is absolutely hectic right now. I am deffinately behind the 8-ball on more than a few projects, and my boss, Rick had a "closed door meeting" with his boss today. That will make you nervous. On a good note, today is payday, and I saw that I have amassed over 2-weeks of vacation. I have never had more than a few days saved up ever in my proffesional career, usually due to Monica being sick. I have made it clear, that I can't take much time off due to the deadlines rushing at me.... so the vacation is adding up quick!

Then again, maybe that nasty kharma feelin' might be because Monica has taken way too many pain pills this month...and is still gripping about being in pain.

The doomsday feeling in my gut got so bad (probably because I was thinking about it) that I actually called many of my relatives today to make sure they were fine. All of those who answered their phones seemed fine.

It's probably just my imagination... like I said, I don't believe in that superstitious junk anyway.

If I don't write again soon, call 911.
