A LITTLE ABOUT
ME...
I have been online since May of 1999, via WebTVPlus.We sort of resisted getting a computer, at first. You know, the old argument; "What do we need one for?" Too expensive, we don't know anything about it, blah, blah, blah...So, we decided to go the WebTV route.
Now, I
can't wait
to get a computer! Sure, you can create some amazing stuff on WebTV, but I
gotta get me a hard drive!

Well, we finally got a PC (4-01-01)! So, I'll be spending a lot of time reworking some of these pages. Note to all you WebTVers, with your own web pages out there- If you don't have a computer, see if you can get a friend who has one to punch up your web site, & take a look. You'd be surprised, at how different your pages look! There
is
a way to work it, so that your pages look/sound pretty much the same on a PC, or WebTV- it's just a matter of re-sizing a lot of your graphics, & changing some of your coding! So, if you've been here before, & things look a little ''different'', it's because I'm working on things, back & forth, between the PC & the WebTV, trying to make everything look & sound good, on both...Whew!.

I am interested in reading and learning about Celtic (I'm of Irish/Celtic decent) & Wiccan beliefs, Tarot, & Paganism. I also read Tarot cards, and have been doing it for about 11 or 12 years- but not professionally- although, I'm told, that I'm quite good at it. I love celestial & mystical things, (Can't you tell?) as well as "moody", darker subjects. Halloween is my favorite holiday- not just because of the ''spooky'' aspect, but, I also started seeing my husband on Halloween night- long story- some other time, LOL! Guess that if I was under 30, you could call me Goth! I love horror movies, old ''film noir'', etc. I'm 33- does that still count?
As you can tell, by my Soaps pages, I'm also an avid soap opera fan, & have been since childhood. Soaps are one of my ''guilty pleasures''- Hey, at least they aren't fattening! I listen mainly to Alternative & Classic Rock- although, I occasionally listen to ''Old'' Country (Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynette, etc.) & Top 40. I love old Motown, (Marvin Gaye, The Supremes, etc.) but I can't deal with Rap- Sorry! Too repetitive for me.
We (I'm married, BTW!) live in the suburbs of New Jersey- Ex- New Yorkers. Got tired of all the noise & pollution. Love it here! One hour from the city, half an hour to the mountains! Can't beat that! (Still root for the Rangers & Mets, though- & grudgingly, Yankees! Why fans of the two NY teams have such a nasty rivalry, I'll never know. Can't a person like Jeter & Piazza, BOTH? Come on, guys, grow up, & make nice!)
We have two dogs, "Mickey" & "Minnie"-
(UPDATE: Our beloved ''Minnie'' passed away, in her sleep, on February 4, 2003, at the age of 14. She is deeply missed. )
, 10 & 11 years old. They are Shetland Sheepdogs, or "Miniature Collies"(or, as some people call them, Little Lassie Dogs!)
