Every risk a person takes
Every choice a human makes
Every heart a lover breaks
Another dream dies

Every kiss that isn't meant
Every card that isn't sent
Every bar that isn't bent
Another dream dies

Every wish that isn't told
Every action that's not bold
Every promise that's not gold
Another dream dies

Every path that isn't walked
Every boat that isn't docked
Every door that remains locked
Another dream dies

But when morning is in sight
And when every star is bright
And when everything is right
Another dream takes flight
