Brainwashed

Putting all trust in "God"
to forgive all your sins.
You believe that he chooses
who loses and wins.

False comfort will save you
from worry and strife.
You'll soar to the clouds
at the end of your life.

A make believe tale
in a book full of lies.
It explains the unknown
with a clever disguise.

An all knowing being
that supposively sees
all the deeds that are done,
and whom holds all the keys.

With no proof that he's out there,
with no sign he exists,
You shun evolution
with tightly clenched fists.

Your minds are so closed
that you can't even see,
in this world full of zombies
you'll never be free.

You've been brainwashed and labeled
and placed on the shelves
that contain all the people
who can't think for themselves.
