Unspoken Thoughts

I always dream in colors.
I always speak with voices that are deep and true.
I always sing with passion.
I always think in shades of red and green and blue.

I didn't ask to love you so.
I didn't ask for you to use me like you do.
I didn't ask to need you so.
I didn't ask for y9u to lie and be untrue.

I only asked for you to hold me.
I only asked for you to help me when I'm down.
I only asked for you to kiss me.
I only asked for you to lift me off the ground.

I never talk to strangers.
I never do the things you tell me that are wrong.
I never break a promise.
I never go to places that I don't belong.
