Valentine's Day
Another day of sorrow
Another day alone
Another day of lonliness
that chills me to the bone.

Another broken promise
Another blatant lie
Another realization that
my life is passing by.

Another day for lovers
Another day of rain
Another day of searching for
a way to end the pain.

Another desperate moment
Another hopeless breath
Another day that only takes me
closer to my death.

Another day spent wishing
Another day to hunt
Another day to never find
the one thing that I want.

Another jealous heartache
Another price to pay
Another waste of cosmic space
It's called Valentine's Day.
