Velvet Brain
Catch a dream and hold it tight. Keep it near throughout the night. Peaceful thoughts that slowly flow. Protecting life through vibrant glow. Love does bloom and fills the heart. A passion with a seamless start. Careless words intrude on pride. The love once held is thrown aside. Overwhelming rage arrives. Invading all surrounding lives. Jealousy appears in time. Chaos rules in hectic rhyme. Life turns down a bitter path. Subjected to emotions' wrath. Hopes erode like acid rain. A bullet through the velvet brain.
