That's me in the back on the left, My wife Sandra on my left, and in front are (L-R) Michelle Angela (10 years old, Crystal Anne (11) years old, and Brittni April (7 years old). Michelle and Brittni are currently enrolled at the Roosevelt Magnet School in Peoria, IL where Michelle is in choir and studies the violin. Brittni is also studying violin. Crystal Anne attends the White Middle School and has recently graduated the D. A. R. E. program and is enrolled in Teen Reach, an afterschool program for advanced students. |

This is the woman who has stood beside me through good and bad times and has believed in me the last 18 years. She is an Accounting Clerk at the Peoria Civic Center, a full time housewife and homemaker, and the best partner any man could ask for. She is simply incredible. |

This is my second oldest son, Rick and his daughters Rabecca Rae (7 years old and seated on Daddy's lap) and Melissa Ann (9 years old and standing). Rick is an enlisted man in the United States Army stationed at Ft. Eustis, VA and soon to be transfered to a teaching position in Maryland. He is a professional artist assigned to Army Intelligence. |

These are my parents, Jack and Shirley Smith, in 1950 just after they were married in Crown Point, IN. They raised three children, myself the oldest, a Vietnam Veteran and author of these pages, Jack Jr., a conductor on the Southern Pacific Railroad and an Air Force Veteran, and Heather Louise, a hotel manager and sales manager in Las Vegas, NV. My parents also live in Las Vegas, and my father has recently retired from his third career. he served the United States Navy for twenty years, worked in the Special section of the Electronics Department of Los Angeles County for twenty years, and has just retired from the Department of Corrections as a prison guard at the Henderson Correctional Facility. |
