D700 Class
The D700 class Heavy Cruiser established
itself as a formidable warship back during the end of the alliance with
the Romulans. The betrayal at Kitimer marked the end of the neutral zone
and the D700's became the first line of defense. These ships were armed
with early Class 1 Disruptors and photon torpedo launchers from the front
only. They are no longer in general service, although a few have been found
in private use.
