MATCH 1: HAOHMARU (SS3) vs. ANDY BOGARD (KOF95)
------------------------------------------------
Andy wiped the sweat from his brow, and looked across at his
boisterous opponent. For all his outspokenness, Haohmaru was proving a
skilled warrior.

In the first round, he had begun probing with hishoukens, which
the ronin either sidestepped, blocked, or nimbly hopped over. He scored
a few hits early in the round, dashing in with a flurry of punches, and
building up to a fiery Shoryudan. Andy caught much of the ronin's
retaliatory flurry with his forearms, gaining a painful series of
wounds. In a final, desperate gambit, Andy's hands clapped around
Haoh's beloved fugu blade, catching it between them. He kicked his leg
up into the ronin's gut, and rolled back, heaving Haohmaru up, and out
of the ring.

Now Haohmaru was in the process of climbing back to the top of the
platform, and Andy was desperately trying to catch his breath. As the
ronin topped the platform, he bowed to Andy, who returned the gesture.

"YOU HAVE HAD YOUR MOMENT IN THE SUN!" proclaimed Haohmaru. "I
CONGRATULATE YOU, FOR YOUR SKILL. BUT NOW, I FEAR, IT IS YOUR TIME TO
FALL!"

Haohmaru let loose a terrible assaul, the next round. At the
opening of the round, Andy dashed in with an elbow, only to watch
Haohmaru casually step around him. The ronin lunged, thrusting at Andy
with the point of his blade. Andy twisted awkwardly, to keep the blade
from doing serious damage, but he quickly clutched the wound, where the
point had pierced the flesh, as he turned to face his opponent.

But Haohmaru wasn't finished. As Andy turned, he saw the ronin
charging him. His arms dragged like they were coated in lead, but he
dragged them up in front of himself, preparing himself.

With a cry, Haohmaru's blade sweapt in low, and moving higher,
breaking Andy's defenses, and sending him sprawling to the mat.

At the beginning of the third round, both opponents faced off
warily. Andy cautiously dodging below the ronin's blade, and Haohmaru
trying to keep Andy at a distance. Senpuuretsuzan met Hishoken, and
Shoryudan was countered with Kogetsuzan.

As the final seconds of the round began to tick away, Haohmaru
found himself in the lead, but only by a slim margin. Andy had taken
advantage of brief openings when the ronin had overextended himself.

Andy dashed in quickly, and with an instinct borne of urgency,
Haoh flipped through the air, with a cry of "OOOHSHAAAAAAAA!!!!" and
brought his blade crashing down with a force that shook the DreamArena.
And Andy's bones.

[WINNER: HAOHMARU-20 votes, ANDY BOGARD-14, DRAW-1, DKO-2]

MATCH 2: MORRIGAN (NW) vs. EIJI SHINJO (TSD2)
----------------------------------------------
As the bell sounded Eiji lunged out with his blade, only to watch
his opponent rise majestically into the air. With her cape, and wings
spread regally as she ascended, Eiji was provided a truly wonderful view
as she ascended. Then he made his error... he looked.

The effect of Morrigan's gentle rise into the air was felt across
the DreamArena. All men (with the exception of Benimaru) stopped
whatever they were doing, and stared. All women, especially
girlfriends, became agitated, and began prodding nearby males, trying
to distract them.

Morrigan looked down at the arena, and smirked to herself.
Glancing down at her opponent, when she was certain the young swordsman
had been suitably entranced, she dove.

Her velocity changed in less than a second. Instantly, her arms
and legs outstretched, she pounced on the spellbound Eiji, who didn't
even try to put up a fight. Round 1 went, rather decisively, to
Morrigan.

******

On the DreamArena floor, Jolly Green was still staring upwards, at
where Morrigan had been. (In fact, most of the males in the arena were
still doing this.)

Deuce, on the other hand, had sought shelter underneath his
information desk. Upon hearing the buzzer ending the round, he stuck
his head out. "Jason... is it over?"

"Gaaaa...." was the most intelligible response the Jovial One was
capable of.

******

The second round, Eiji looked on as Morrigan crouched, preparing
to leap again. This time, however, he did the only thing he could think
to do... he closed his eyes.

The sounds of the DreamArena all went silent, as all the males
present momentarily ceased even their breath. A faint fluttering could
be heard overhead, as the succubus rose into the air. Eiji just stood,
his head turned up towards the noise.

Then abruptly, the noise stopped. Eiji sprang into action, and
rolled off to the side. An exclamation of surprise, and fury burst
forth from Morrigan as her prey eluded her. Homing in on the sound,
Eiji's sword flashed out, and a scarlet line appeared across the leg of
Morrigan's pants. By now, even the women were stunned.

With a knowing smile, Eiji pursued Morrigan, the slightest sound
bringing a slash from the nimble blade. Slashmarks criss-crossed
Morrigan's body, as she gritted her teeth, and concentrated. She knew
how to beat this.

A sound off from Eiji's left drew his blade out, to slash through
empty air. Before he knew what was happening, Morrigan was pummeling
him from the right. But then... what had he heard off to the left?
Almost upon completion of the thought, the beating on his right was
matched by identical strikes on his left.

All the men in the arena watched with bated breaths as TWO
Morrigans beat Eiji into senselessness.

[WINNER: MORRIGAN-23 votes, EIJI SHINJO-11, DRAW-1, DKO-3]

MATCH 3: SAGAT (SFA) vs. KIBAGAMI GENJURO (SS3)
------------------------------------------------
Genjuro opened the match with a deadly volley of attacks. From
the first moment, Sagat was at a loss to counter the samurai's carefully
timed attacks. So, he tried the death-at-a-distance approach, but
Genjuro would have none of it. He rushed forward, and as Sagat was
attempting to hurl a blast of energy, the samurai had him caught in a
move of his own. The Three Heavens Death carried Sagat higher... one
cut... two cuts... three.

As they fell back to the platform, Genjuro yelled, "Sankyuusatsu!"
Sagat simply grunted as he hit the mat. Slowly, painfully, Sagat drew
himself back up to his feet. No sooner had he recovered his senses than
had Genjuro charged up to him, grabbed him, and tossed him into the air
as if he were nothing more than a small stone.

"Ahou ga!" cried the samurai, as he leapt up after the dazed Muay
Thai fighter. At the arc of his jump, he brought his sword arcing down
upon Sagat. "SHINE!" he screamed, and the blade bit deep into Sagat's
flesh... and suddenly, Sagat was split in two.

As was expected, Sagat's body fell to the ground in its two
pieces, revealing nothing more than a black void where the cut was. And
on hitting the ground, the pieces vanished, and Sagat reappeared, whole
(but unconscious) in his own room.

	Deuce winced. "That must've hurt..."

And Genjuro was pronounced the winner. "Hah... at this rate, this
so-called championship will be mine in NO time."

[WINNER: KIBAGAMI GENJURO-27 votes, SAGAT-7, DRAW-3, DKO-1]

MATCH 4: KIM KAPHWAN (KOF95) vs. GALFORD (SS3)
-----------------------------------------------
Galford and Kim fought back and forth, pitting the arts of the
ninja and a surprising talent for using electricity against an absolute
mastery of Tae Kwon Do. The fight was hard, but clean, with neither
combatant taking unfair advantage of the other.

The first round ended with a narrow victory for Galford, when Kim
attacked the wrong mirror image, allowing the American to finish him off
with a heavy, overhand sweep of his electrified blade.

Galford's luck turned in the second round of combat however, as
Kim seemed to be constantly one step ahead of him, constantly delivering
punishing flurries of blows. The final stroke came when Galford
attempted a ninja teleport drop, which Kim dodged, and countered with
his Houou Kyaku, sending the hapless ninja crashing to the ground some
distance away.

The third round began with the two fighters meeting in the center
of the platform and shaking hand firmly, exchanging smiles. As the bell
rang, they went at it with enthusiasm.

Galford connected with his Plasma Break knocking Kim to the
ground. The crowd cheered, Nakoruru grinned, Poppy barked!

Kim landed a Hienzan (pronounced correctly too) sending Galford
sprawling. The crowd roared, his children whooped!

Back and forth across the platform the two justice fighters
battled, exchanging blow for blow, technique for technique, wearing each
other down, and calling upon their last reserves of strength as the
combat raged on. Finally, as each of the two combatants looked about to
drop from exhaustion, the bell rang, signalling the end of the round.

As the lifebars were examined, the two fighters stood, smiling
weakly at each other and panting as the fight was called a...

[DRAW MATCH: GALFORD-15 votes, KIM KAPHWAN-13, DRAW-5, DKO-5]

As the decision was annouced, both Galford and Kim began to
chuckle, then laugh. Throwing their arms about each other's shoulders,
the two supported each other in stumbling off the platform to the cheers
and greetings of their various friends, fans and supporters.

MATCH 5: LION (VF2) vs. YURI SAKAZAKI (KOF95)
----------------------------------------------
The two opponents glowered at each other, both preparing for the
contest of skill that was about to begin. Fortunately for Lion, he
wasn't one of them.

Takuma sprang up onto the platform, and Yuri turned instantly to
face him. "Alright, old man!" she shrieked. "This is for kidnapping
me!"

Takuma stared at his daughter over the top of his fist. "I do
this for your own good, Yuri," he announced. "You need some discipline
in your life."

At about this point, Lion realized that he was standing directly
between the two Kyokugenryu artists. It registered briefly in his mind,
that this probably wasn't the best place to be standing, as the two
charged.

	"HAOH-SHO-KO-KEN!"

	"YURI-SUPER-UPPER!"

A tremendous cloud of dust surrounded all three combatants.
Takuma, trying to discipline his delinquent daughter. Yuri trying to
avenge herself against her father. Lion, just trying to get the hell
out of the way.

******

When the dust cleared, only one fighter remained. Takuma
straightened his gi, and calmly descended the fighting platform.

******

Jolly Green and Deuce watched, as the master of Kyokugenryu
reached the bottom of the platform. "I don't know..." the Jovial One began.

"... How we're going to call this one!" Deuce finished.

"I know!" they both said in unison. "Let's give it to Mike!
He'll like it!"

******

Up in the control booth, Wraith grumbled about having to make all
these tough calls this round. As he pounded at the keyboard, he entered
the results as...

[DOUBLE ELIMINATION: YURI SAKAZAKI-16 votes, LION-11, DRAW-3, DKO-5]

MATCH 6: HSIEN-KO (NW) vs. TERRY BOGARD (KOF95)
------------------------------------------------
It had been a curious match. Terry fought tooth and nail, while
Hsien-ko fought hammer and sickle (among other things). Or should that
be the other way around? Regardless, Terry found himself on the
receiving end of strikes from those enormous fingernails more often
than he would have liked.

Despite this, he still managed to put forth a considerable
showing, and gave the NightWarrior everything he had to give. Anytime
the ghostly young woman spun at him, he would take her down with a
Rising Tackle. Any jump-in attempt was quickly stuffed with a Crack
Shoot. He kept her at bay with the Power Wave, and managed to catch
her once or twice with the Power Dunk.

Some folks in the Peanut Gallery said that this was how Terry
was at his best. Ie. simply do his special moves over and over again
in semi-random order until he won. Some balked at this, making note
of the fact that Terry had not used the Burn Knuckle once in this
match. Bets immediately were placed as to whether or not he would.

	"BUUUUURN KNUCKLE!!" came the cry.

Boo-hoo-hoo, came another cry. Namely, the cries of those who
had just been forced to pay up.

Hsien-ko wasn't saying much of anything. Terry's energy-
charged fist had caught her squarely in the jaw, and had finally
knocked what little remained of her senses away. She fell to the mat,
her eyes spiraling.

Terry grinned and tossed his hat in the air. "OKAY!" he yelled.

No one in the entire Multiverse would have bet against him doing
THAT, at least. Comforting to know that there are some things one can
always be sure of in life...

[WINNER: TERRY BOGARD-23 votes, HSIEN-KO-11, DRAW-0, DKO-1]

MATCH 7: HATTORI HANZO (SS3) vs. KING (KOF95)
----------------------------------------------
It had been a long, hard battle for both combatants - they'd met
before, and so were familiar with many of each other's tricks.
Throughout the first round, they seemed quite evenly matched, pulling
out all the stops. Hanzo caught King offguard with his aerial shuriken
attack, while King surprised the ninja with her aptly named Surprise
Rose. Finally though, when the clock ran down for the round, it was
ruled a draw on close inspection.

The second round started out with a bang - Hanzo pounded the
ground, and vanished in a flash of fire. King hopped back warily, and
flung a double venom strike, which the ninja blocked, forcing him back
into visibility. Back and forth they battled, King watching the ninja
warily as they both dodged and weaved across the battlefield.

Finally, as the clock ticked down, the fighters found themselves
once again evenly balanced in damage, so Hanzo decided to play his last
trick card. He slammed his fist into the ground, and released a leaping
streamer of flame, that bounced along the floor of the arena towards
King, who laughed, and tidily sidestepped it. As she began to fling a
venom strike at the ninja however, the Bakuenryu blast reversed it's
direction and came bounding back to hit her from behind...just as the clock
expired.

After a moment's inspection however, it became clear that either
the attack had struck a split second too late, or King's fire retardent
tuxedo had really been worth the investment, because, not only was it
undamaged, the match was ruled a...

[DRAW MATCH: KING-18 votes, HATTORI HANZO-15, DRAW-4, DKO-0]

MATCH 8: LAU (VF2) vs. MAI SHIRANUI (KOF95)
--------------------------------------------
This match turned out to be awfully one sided. Lau, in spite of
being undistracted by Mai's feminine charms, couldn't seem to
deal with her fighting techniques. The one time he took to the air the
Shiranui ninja sent him falling, immolated, to the ground by flipping
herself up into the air and striking him with her flaming sash.

Lau's other assaults met with similar difficulties - he could
scarcely close on the ninja without being met by a painfully well aimed
fan. And, to his further frustration, the one time he was able to
close, Mai deftly dodged to one side, evading his attack. At this, the
old man through up his hands. "Wait just a minute! Who's 3D here? You or
me?"

Mai smiled as immolated Lau again with a Ryuenbu and struck her
(in)famous win pose "Oh, you are, of course. I have way too many
curves. Nippon Ichi!"

[WINNER: MAI SHIRANUI-22 votes, LAU-10, DRAW-5, DKO-0]

MATCH 9: HEIDERN (KOF95) vs. AKIRA (VF2)
-----------------------------------------
Heidern and Akira went to it with no quarter asked nor given.
Akira brought to bear the grace and power of years of training as a
martial artist, while Heidern fought with the skill and tenacity of a
man whose life has depended on his prowess more than once.

During the first round, Akira met with some difficulty approaching
Heidern - the mercenary would crouch there, waiting to unleash a cross
cutter, or moon slasher as soon as Akira made a move. After a few
mistakes with various rushing attacks, Akira began a plodding, cautious
offense, edging in and using a few deceptive attacks to draw his
opponent out. Unfortunately for him (but fortunately for the audience,
who were either dozing off or taking this opportunity to visit the
restrooms), the time limit expired before he was able to do significant
damage.

As the second round began, Heidern launched a few quick attacks,
mostly to annoy his opponent then settled back into his secure waiting
game, determined to win this match by any means necessary, even if it
DID put the fans to sleep. Akira, however, made none of the same rash
errors he had in the last round, and fought his way to a patient, hard
won victory by time, closing in carefully, and using his impressive
close in game.

For the third round, Heidern clearly made the decision that
fighting defensively wasn't going to cut it for him this round. That
having been determined, he opened up his impressive offensive arsenal,
delivering immensely painful comboes, and attacking with a vengeance.

This strategy only had one real fault - this put Akira back in his
element. The polygonal fighter met his opponent on even ground, and
fought back blow for blow, combo for combo in an awe inspiring display
of offensive. The crowd, accustomed to the tranquilizingly slow pace of
the preceeding two matches, leapt into a frenzy of cheering, each blow
struck eliciting a loud roar of applause, right up until the final
moment when Akira's rushing elbow met Heidern's Moon Slasher... leaving
both fighters prone on the mat.

[DOUBLE ELIMINATION: HEIDERN-16 votes, AKIRA-15, DRAW-0, DKO-4]

MATCH 10: KYO KUSANAGI (KOF95) vs. TACHIBANA UKYO (SS3)
-------------------------------------------------------
From the moment the match started, the two fighters would grant
no quarter to each other. Kyo was relentless in his attacks, but the
Samurai parried, deflected, and countered each strike with calm
precision. Any time there was a moment's respite from the battle, the
two warriors charged their ki, powering themselves up to full strength.

Ukyo had punished any attempt Kyo had made to keep on the
defensive, so Kyo remained on the offensive. It was tiring him out
faster than he might have been otherwise, though. Regardless, Kyo had
managed to keep Ukyo on his toes as well. The young Magatama fighter
had no intention of being an easy target, nor was he.

Kyo leaped in, hoping to catch his opponent unawares, and launch
a deadly combo. Ukyo was prepared, and brought up his sword and
scabbard to intercept the blow. But it did not come. In a sneaky
maneuver, Kyo jumped in without attacking, immediately wound a fist
around Ukyo's guard, and followed up with a punishing two-hit flaming
uppercut. Ukyo went sailing, and crashed to the ground.

Ukyo stood, coughing up blood. He nodded to Kyo, "...good...
you have... potential...." Kyo blinked, a bit surprised to be
complimented by the champion. This caused him to bring down his guard,
just long enough for Ukyo to run in and close the distance. Kyo
immediately brought up his arms to ward off the expected attack, but in
a similar fashion to Kyo's last tactic, Ukyo did not strike, but instead
dashed quickly around, to Kyo's back.

Before Kyo could realize what Ukyo had done, he felt a long line
of pain run across his back, as the Samurai sliced upward. As he
staggered forward, Ukyo followed up with a Hiken Oborogatana Sen (Heat
Flash). The wave of energy coursed through Kyo, weakening him even
further, and he felt his grasp on consciousness vanishing. Finally,
Ukyo crouched down, and delivered a sweeping low slash to Kyo's legs.

Kyo buckled under the force of the attacks, and fell to his knees,
attempting to shake off the blackness that threatened to envelop him.
He was dimly aware of Ukyo rushing toward him, sword aglow... and then
he felt a rush of wind as the Samurai moved around him. When the wind
stopped, Ukyo spun the Drying Pole around and put it back in its sheath.

Moments later, Kyo writhed as he felt the sting of multiple sword
slashes take him at once. The pain stopped, and was replaced by
blissful quiet. Ukyo had won, and Kyo was unconscious. The cheers
which filled the DreamArena died away at a most unusual sight: that of
the stricken Ukyo helping someone ELSE walk, rather than the other way
around.

Kyo, only semi-conscious at this point, took this in stride, and
simply resolved to train harder for the next fight. One doesn't defeat
a champion easily...

[WINNER: TACHIBANA UKYO-23 votes, KYO KUSANAGI-13, DRAW-1, DKO-1]

MATCH 11: ROSE (SFA) vs. KUBIKIRI BASARA (SS3)
----------------------------------------------
Rose scowled. Her undead opponent had managed to keep her
guessing throughout the entire match, what with his constant teleporting
and duplicating. The blade-from-thin-air bit did nothing to improve her
opinion of the blade-wielding revenant.

Basara took to the air once more, and threw his blade at the
beautiful mystic. She dove forward, rolling out of the way, and when
she regained her footing, she saw Basara was coming down from his flight
arc. Wasting no time, she immediately leapt up to grab him.

This was something Basara had not expected. He felt the woman's
slender but strong hands grasp him, and hurl him forcefully to the
platform. He landed roughly, on his back, but recovered a moment later.
Rose's earnest attempt at gaining the upper hand was met by maniacal
laughter. She frowned, utterly frustrated at her opponent's insanity
and apparent inability to keep from laughing.

Abrubtly, the laughter ceased, and Basara sank into a portal of
utter blackness at his feet. Rose took note of where it moved, and
readied herself for the undead man's return. When he did return, she
rushed at him, suddenly calling upon her powers to create her own set
of "duplicates." She began striking at Basara, and every time she
connected, whether the attack was blocked or not, he felt many more
attacks than the few she was throwing. He managed to block the
majority, however. Eventually the power faded, and she was forced to
sacrifice her offensive.

As soon as he had a moment's breathing room (although that may
be something of a moot point for Basara), he sent out two shadow images,
one walking along the ground, the other leaping forward. Taking a
gamble, she bet on the leaping version being the actual one.

Unfortunately, it was a sucker bet. Rose leapt forward,
attempting to knock him from the air. But Basara stood back, safely
out of reach of Rose's attacks. While she was in midair, her attack
passing through the image, he crouched down and sank into another
portal... this time arising from a new one directly beneath her, his
blade held upwards as he rose.

She saw the attack coming, but was totally vulnerable, still in
the middle of recovering from her attempted attack. Suddenly, she felt
cold steel digging into her flesh, and cried out in pain as the
supernatural forces carrying Basara higher lifted her as well. Finally,
she fell to the platform, her energy spent. She had been defeated, but
the look on her opponent's face was not one of elation.

Basara was staring at the ghostlike vision which had literally
dropped into his arms. It was his beloved, Kagaribi... her image come
back to haunt him once more. Basara's face was a mixture of joy at the
sight of her face, and anguish at his knowledge of her fate. Suddenly,
the image of her crumbled, and gave way to an half-bare skeleton.
Basara's eyes widened in horror, as they always did. Experience would
never teach him how to deal with this. He screamed, and dropped the
skeleton, which faded away into nothingness. Falling to his knees, he
could do nothing more than weep for his lost beloved, and lament his
own fate.

Rose observed this with interest and concern... rarely had she
seen a manifestation of this magnitude. She resolved to look into this
situation more keenly, later...

[WINNER: KUBIKIRI BASARA-17 votes, ROSE-12, DRAW-1, DKO-1]

MATCH 12: OMEGA RUGAL (KOF95) vs. VERMILLION (TSD2)
---------------------------------------------------
It was ugly. Vermillion was relentless in his gunfire, just as
Rugal would give no quarter from his assault of God Presses, Reppukens
and Kaiser Waves. Rugal seemed at a slight disadvantage at first,
however. Rugal was most effective in-close, whereas Vermillion's
specialty was death-at-a-distance, and KEEPING one there.

Despite the black-clad sniper's game of keepaway, Rugal had
managed to get close enough to mount a powerful offensive several times.
And when he had, he unleashed his deadly chi energies on the
Toshindenite, to noticeable effect. After a short while, both of the
warriors were nearly spent, having gained a mutual (albeit grudging)
respect for one another.

Finally, Rugal slid forward, closing the distance with a God
Press. Vermillion was prepared, and kept up his guard, to avoid being
pushed back into the invisible barricade. Rugal connected, and hopped
back after the hit was blocked, hoping to avoid any counterattack.
Vermillion leaned forward, a small cloth bag held in his hand.

He swung his arm upward, tossing the bag's contents into the air.
Suddenly, the air in front of him was filled with blue sparks of some
form of energy. Unfortunately, he failed to perform the attack in time
to catch Rugal before he recovered. And Rugal had immediately done a
Genocide Cutter, almost on reflex.

As the energy flew into Rugal's body, his foot connected with
Vermillion's chin. The two fighters flew up high into the air, driven
by the momentum of the cyborg's ki attack... but the timer sounded at
just that moment. The two combatants landed, both dazed, and looked at
the referee. A quick glance at the lifemeters revealed they were even.
The battle met with the end of neither fighter...

[DRAW MATCH: OMEGA RUGAL-15 votes, VERMILLION-14, DRAW-4, DKO-3]

MATCH 13: AKUMA (SFA) vs. AMAKUSA SHIRO TOKISADA (SS3)
------------------------------------------------------
The power discharged in the course of the battle was nothing short
of titanic. Power crackled, and on several occasions, Wraith was forced
to divert power from vital systems in order to keep it from spilling out
over the arena. That's right folks... even the VENDING MACHINES were
down!

Cackling wildly, Amakusa gracefully lifted his arm, and Akuma
levitated into the air. With a vicious cry of glee, Amakusa's arm swept
downard, and Akuma crashed into the platform. The battle quickly
degenerated into a teleporting match, with both fighters refusing to
stay in one place for long. Akuma landed a Raging Demon that came very
close to finishing Amakusa off. However, as he leapt in for the kill,
Amakusa's sphere swirled around him defensively, and power coursed
through his body. A slightly charred Akuma hit the mat.

In the second round, Akuma tried out his air game, with aerial
HaDouKen's and Hurricane Kicks. However, his opponent got wise to the
tactic. Amakusa leapt into the air after him, his aura bursting into
flame. He grabbed Akuma, and plummeted straight down to the platform
(with Akuma underneath). A sickening **CRUNCH** filled the arena.

******

From the Peanut Gallery, Shao Khan chuckled darkly. "*FATALITY*,"
he said.

With a groan, all of the other fighters in the gallery piled on
the Outworld Lord, and pummelled him senseless.

[WINNER: AMAKUSA SHIRO TOKISADA-20 votes, AKUMA-15, DRAW-1, DKO-2]

******

"Well," said Deuce, "that's another round in the bag... can hardly
wait for tomorrow...."

"Easy for YOU to say," said Jolly. "You don't have to stay up to
keep watch." He yawned.

"Yeah, but I didn't take a nap three hours ago either."

Mike's voice came in over the communicators. "And I get to do the
statistics. I don't even want to think about how late I'm going to be
up working on them."

"Better you than me...," said Deuce. "I'm going to go make a few
rounds of my own before I call it quits. You going to come to the bar
before you're on duty, Jason?"

The Jovial one nodded, "I suppose so... I'll meet you there
shortly. Got a few things to check up on for the cleanup detail."

"Gotcha," said Jeff, and walked off. "See you there..."

------------------------------------------------------------------------
I know, I know... it's been a long time in coming. But hopefully, these
matchups were worth waiting for. We promise, the epilogue and wrap-up
