I have recently discovered a man through the 'net who's prestige goes beyond his music. Ron Bowman of The Bowman Arrow has been around & is back again with an album named r.e.b. & a new single Information Overload.

Ron is an excellent songwriter as well as musician & lyricist from the northwest Florida area. Listening to his music you can hear his roots buried in the Brithish Invasion, with certain Beatle-esque qualities, followed by more Southern blues & rockish country. During the 60's, Ron was the lead vox of a band called The Dickens. Based in L.A. during the 70's, Ron's most notable endevour was the controversial band known as The Alleycats. later, in the 80's, he rocked Club Med with The Hollywood Party Boys (everyone in the band excluding Ron was from California), this was the first American band to have this particular gig. After this honour, he took an odd portrayal of John Lennon in the Broadway Musical, "Beatlemania". On Ron's recently recorded solo album, the music ranges from the more rock oriented "Endangered List", a country "I Love You More Than I Love My Truck" & ballad, & one of my personal favourites, "Waterfall". To find such a range one disc with one artist is a rare find & an absolute fabulous exprerience.
